Santa and his helpers will be welcomed to Otsego County this season with an 11 a.m. parade Saturday, Nov. 21, down Main Street, Oneonta.
From noon to 1:30, Mrs. Clause will be reading stories to youngsters at the Green Toad Book Store, 198 Main St. That afternoon, Santa himself will be in his cottage in Muller Plaza after 3.
Sunday, help decorate downtown Cooperstown’s Santa’s cottage and lampposts. Meet at 2 p.m. at Pioneer Park.
COMEDY TONIGHT: Comedian Phil Olsen will perform Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 20-22, in Worcester, a joint offering of the Worcester Inn and the Wieting Theatre across Main Street. Friday and Saturday, there’s dinner at 6, followed by Phil at 8. Sunday, Phil performs at 2, followed by dinner at the inn. Reservations, 433-2089.
ALL TOGETHER: A Cooperstown Ecumenical Thanksgiving service is 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at Coopertown Presbyterian Church, Pioneer and Church. Rev. Miriam Hathaway will deliver the message. Music, song. Refreshments follow.

SHAKESPEARE FANS: Hartwick College’s theater group will present “Midsummer’s Night Dream” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, at Yager Hall.
HOLIDAY AUCTION: Richfield Springs’ Zone Community Center hosts its annual Holiday Dinner (5 p.m.) & Auction (6:30) Saturday, Nov. 21. $5 includes meal and door prize.
